Albeit initially part of Barceloneta beach, the city chamber renamed it Somorrostro in memory of the modest settlement that once remained on this piece of the Barcelona coast. Somorrostro Beach is near the city center with incredible public transportation joins, making it one of the most prominent beaches in Barcelona, particularly for the younger generation, the two local people and guests. The beach facilitates, showers, beach volleyball, sand courts, a playing area for children, and a gymnastics area.
