The Museum of Fundació Antoni Tapies Foundation is situated in the old house Simon I Montaner in the area of Eixample. The Fundació Antoni Tapies was established in 1984 by the artist Tàpies himelf, to account for the classical and modern art. The Museum is dedicated to crafts by Catalan artist Antoni Tapies. The presentation opened in 1990 and is viewed as the main show of crafts by Tàpies. The Fundació Antoni Tàpies has the most complete accumulation of works by the Catalan artist and is committed to changing displays in different artists.
