La Pedrera is one of the Gaudí’s engineering artful culminations in Barcelona. It was constructed between 1906 and 1912. The structure is adored for its one of a kind shape and façade, winning it a definitive approval as an UNESCO World Heritage Site as a social space, just as its image of Catalan Modernisme, or Catalan Art Nouveau period. La Pedrera is known and cherished for its interesting façade of undulating limestone, with huge windows and unpredictable fashioned iron galleries. It was because of its quarry-like highlights that it earnt the unique name of La Pedrera, which means quarry.
