The Monastery of Pedralbes or Monestir de Pedralbes is absolutely a standout amongst the loveliest gothic structures in Barcelona. Worked in the mid fourteenth century, it demonstrates the regular day to day existence of the nuns, while the Museum of the Pedralbes Monastery shows objects of religious art from the fourteenth to the twentieth centuries. The most unique feature is the wonderful three-story cloister and the gardens within it.
